The 5th CORUM “Art in Science” Award Ceremony was held on December 25 and 28, 2025, at the Xin Chuan Used Bookstore Nonprofit Organization in Chiayi and the Reindeer Children Home in Taoyuan, respectively.
The theme of this painting competition is “AI and My Life,” was designed to encourage children to imagine the wonderful and fascinating world of AI in the future. Many people believe that technology and art represent two opposing extremes—rationality versus sensibility. In reality, technology exists to make our lives more advanced and better, while art serves as the source of imagination and creativity that technology needs to evolve.
One of the judges, Mr. An-Lai Lu, remarked:“In this year’s children’s artworks, we saw scenes involving smartphones, transportation and map navigation, medical care, robots replacing human labor, and more—things that have already become part of everyday life. Children’s drawings naturally reflect the people, events, and objects they see, hear, and think about in their daily lives. This year’s theme aligns perfectly with the development of contemporary technology, inspiring children’s imagination and creativity. We are delighted to see this group of future creative minds.”
Among the 38 submissions received this year, all participants received certificates and gifts provided by the organizer, Corum Inc., and the co-organizer, AMUN CORPORATION. In addition, the champion, second place, and third place were awarded scholarships generously sponsored by Corum Inc.
At the same time, an “Online Popularity Award,” was held through public voting. We also received valuable feedback from Corum’s global distributors and customers, allowing these young scientists’ works to be seen by audiences around the world.
The comprehensive list of winners is now available online: Reindeer Children Home (RCH) Winners List and Xin Chuan Used Bookstore Nonprofit Organization Winners List. Congratulations to all participants and winners, and special thanks to everyone who joins the online voting.
